This means that these regions will turn red at the effective time.
The emergency brake data will be run twice a week and aim to give 48 hours’ notice prior to any changes. The Red emergency brake classification will apply for a minimum of 14 days. The emergency brakes currently in place still remain.
Passengers arriving with a Green status are required undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0) and day 8, and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 0 test.
Passengers arriving with an Amber status are required to undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0), day 5 and day 10, and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 5 test.
Passengers arriving with a Red status are required to undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0), day 5 and day 10, and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 10 test.
Anyone travelling from a red region who has been fully vaccinated will still be required to follow the isolation rules for red regions. This will apply to all emergency brake regions now classified as red.
