Supporting Finance
The Finance Committee meets bi-monthly to promote understanding between the finance industry and the broader objectives of the Chamber of Commerce.
Its purpose is to provide information and support rather than replace established industry bodies such as the Jersey Bankers' Association (JBA), Jersey Finance Limited (JFL) and Jersey Association of Trust Companies (JATCO).
We maintain a standing committee which is broadly representative of local finance to provide a consultative body for any issues that may arise which have a bearing on our industry. We review papers and publications, liaising with JBA, JFL and JATCO where appropriate, and provide written feedback to support the position agreed by members.

Meet our Chair
Justin Clapham
Chair Finance Committee
Justin brings to the Chamber Executive Committee over 25 years experience in the finance industry; he has held numerous senior posts within the banking and trust sectors both in Jersey and London.
Currently, Justin the Chief Operating Officer and a Client Director at Baccata Trustees Limited which is a Jersey based independent trust company and corporate services provider.
In addition, he has held numerous non-executive directorships. He was previously honorary Treasurer of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, Jersey Branch.
He has a Finance MBA from Manchester Business School, and is a Chartered director, Fellow of the Institute of Directors, Fellow of the ACI, Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
