Update from Chamber 17/04/2020

Apr 17, 2020

Friday update from Chamber

One hopes you have that ‘Friday Feeling’ about you? I suspect some will have had that feeling several times this week already.

We had previously highlighted on our updates, we would be expecting revised FAQ’s, that would be published today regarding the Phase 2 Co-Funding scheme. At the point of writing, whilst we have not seen any updates, we do recognise a great deal of good work is ongoing to ensure any revisions fully answer as many questions as possible, including some Chamber has raised. Chamber have had several calls enquiring on this from members this afternoon. The value of getting this huge funding scheme right requires great care in the technical detail and much patience from all of us too, and I suspect we will rightly see an update after the weekend.

Our friends at Ogier, have let us know of new guidance issued on swearing powers of attorney by video call.
