‘Keep Doing the Right Thing’ Leaflet

Jul 01, 2022

We have been asked by Public Health to share the below ‘keep doing the right thing’ leaflet with Chamber members following a recent rise in covid-19 cases across the Island.

It has been noted that many businesses have excellent in office / workplace practices to stop the spread of covid, however there has been a noticeable uptick in case figures following out of office / workplace industry and company events.

An increase in staff absences can have a knock-on impact to your business continuity plans. You are therefore encouraged to remind staff of the below public health measures and ensure that these are taken into consideration when planning events.

Current Public Health Guidance:

  • isolate and book a PCR test if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms
  • keep testing with LFTs twice weekly and when visiting high risk settings including hospitals and care homes
  • isolate and book a PCR test if you have a positive LFT
  • isolate following a positive PCR test.
  • vaccinate yourself and your family against COVID-19 and stay up to date with your booster doses to avoid serious illness and support travel requirements in different countries.
  • wear masks when in close proximity settings and in the Hospital and care homes
  • improve ventilation by opening windows
