The Government of Jersey, through its delivery partner Digital Jersey, have launched Impact Jersey. Impact Jersey is a new scheme to support the island’s future economy, environmental ambitions and community goals by accelerating and strengthening Jersey’s technology ecosystem.
Through a coordinated series of grant programmes and challenges, Impact Jersey will award up to £20 million to address the island’s biggest challenges, through the use and adoption of technology.
Strategic priorities include identifying sustainable transport solutions, enhancing health and wellbeing, boosting productivity in local industries, improving infrastructure, and ensuring islanders have the right skills for the future.
To mark the launch, Impact Jersey is calling on island-based companies and individuals to register their interest for the first open programme, launching in the summer, where Jersey based individuals and businesses can apply for grants of up to £75,000.
