Latest International Travel Risk Assessment Classifications

Jun 04, 2021

The latest data for international travel classifications, which are effective from Tuesday 8 June at 00:01, have now been updated.

We align our international travel classifications with the UK Joint Biosecurity Centre traffic light system, except where Jersey has direct connections with a country.

All updated classifications can also be found here.

This explains how country and regions are risk-assessed - https://www.gov.je/Health/Coronavirus/Travel/Pages/CountryRegionRiskAssessment.aspx

Passengers arriving with a Green status are required undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0) and day 8, and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 0 test.

Passengers arriving with an Amber status are required to undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0), day 5 and day 10, and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 5 test.

Passengers arriving with a Red status are required to undertake a PCR test on arrival (day 0), day 5 and day 10, and must isolate until they receive a negative result from their day 10 test.

Passengers arriving from a green or amber area - who have been fully vaccinated in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Guernsey or the Isle of Man – need a test on arrival but won’t need to isolate.
