Update from Chamber 14/04/2020

Apr 14, 2020

And here we are, back in the saddle again for another week of nightly updates from Chamber. This really is the third week of updates, with more just joining us, so welcome. We trust you had as good a weekend as the restrictions would allow.

Today’s topics within the office have been of Temporary Voluntary Arrangements between Commercial Landlords and Tenants, Bank Loans and Pre-Packs. We’ve got details on the first, advice on the second and the third of those is quite a subject and we’ve taken quite a few differing opinions on that one. We have some expertise within our membership and will bring you more, as that unravels this week.

With the announcement on Thursday early evening of the details contained within Phase 2 of the co-funding scheme, you might not have spent your weekend pouring over the included/exclude lists or the informal FAQ’s. The links are here if you’d like a second read:

The final draft of the FAQ’s which will give employers the guidance they need, are being worked on and will be up by the end of the week.
