Competent Authority Ministers have announced their intention to proceed to Stage 7 of the Reconnection Roadmap on 14 June. Their decision, which follows advice from the Scientific and Technical Advisory Cell (STAC), is dependent on positive cases numbers remaining low.
Stage 7 includes:
• unlimited gatherings in homes and gardens
• resumption of standing alcoholic drink service
• reopening of nightclubs, including dancing
• large indoor and outdoor events
Events and nightclubs guidance will be developed in consultation with the industry. Islanders should be aware that restrictions may be re-imposed if vaccine-resistant variants or the overall level of transmission poses a risk to the health of Islanders.
