LFT Programme for Businesses & Workplaces Extension Plan

The Lateral Flow Testing Programme for businesses and workplaces extension plan for the following sectors is being launched next week:

  • Building and construction
  • Customs and immigration
  • Domestic cleaning services
  • Legal and financial services
  • Leisure and recreation
  • Security and facilities management 
  • Utilities and infrastructure
  • Voluntary and community services
  • Worship, funeral and wedding services 
  • Other healthcare services including all registered professionals

The process remains exactly same, register online, receive a code, input employees, receive 1 month supply of LFT kits, conduct tests in the workplace, submit results via portal in 30mins.

Businesses can expect this availability next week and those in the below sectors are encouraged to take part if not already doing so:

  • hospitality
  • retail
  • agriculture and fisheries
  • public transport
  • postal, freight and delivery service
  • wellbeing, cosmetic and beauty
  • veterinary practices and animal husbandry
  • early years and children's social care
