Important – Registration with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner

Running an organisation, charity or business? Using people’s personal information in your day to day activities?

From 1st January 2020, ALL Jersey organisations must register or renew their registration with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner by the 31st January 2020 (subject to exemptions). 

This applies to organisations and businesses of all shapes and sizes such as shops, dentists, hairdressers, tradespeople, restaurants, clubs, and banks.

Following this update, we want to make sure you, as our member, meet the requirements of the law. Therefore, please visit www.jerseyoic.org to ensure you have registered or renewed your registration with the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner by 31st January 2020. Payment is due to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner by the last day of February 2020.
