Sep 24, 2020

Our live Webchat was held on Thursday 17th September and was looking at Brexit and the new Border Operating Model.

The UK’s trading relationship with the EU will change from 1 January 2021. If you trade with the EU, you will need to meet new requirements and adhere to new procedures at the end of the Transition Period.
To help businesses consider what preparations they need to make, the Webchat, hosted by Jersey Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Grant Thornton CI, is available to watch below.

Joining the webinar was:

  • Senator Ian Gorst, Minister for External Relations
  • Connétable Len Norman, Home Affairs Minister
  • Paul Ecobichon, Assistant Director at Jersey Customs & Immigration Service
  • Joe Carnegie, Borders Policy Lead for an introduction into Jersey’s new Border Operating Model, and how as a business you need to prepare.
