The Future Hospital Review Panel will be holding a public hearing with the Minister for the Environment – which he has agreed in public – in light of his decision to reject the future hospital planning application.
The date and time of the public hearing will be confirmed in due course.
Deputy Kevin Pamplin, Chairman of the Future Hospital Review Panel said:
“In light of the Environment Minister’s decision to reject the future hospital planning application, we will be holding a public hearing with him as soon as possible to discuss in more detail the reasoning behind his decision. This decision will have a significant impact on any future States decision which the Chief Minister has committed to bring before the States Assembly. As a Scrutiny Panel we want to make sure that the general public and States members can have confidence in the Environment Minister’s decision."
