A consultation with the construction industry has been launched for potential bidders to build the new skatepark at Les Quennevais.
The consultation will help the Government develop their procurement strategy before inviting contractors to tender for the work later this summer. It is free to all organisations involved in the construction industry to respond to but is primarily aimed at Main Contractors and Subcontractors.
Assistant Minister for Economic Development with responsibility for sport, Deputy Hugh Raymond, said: “We have developed the Les Quennevais Skatepark plans based on consultation with the urban sports community and we appointed a specialist designer to ensure we are providing an inclusive facility that caters for everyone.
“Building a skatepark is also a specialist area and when we reach this stage, we will be looking for contractors with the experience and capability to help deliver our first-class urban sports hubs.”
The consultation can be accessed here.
The survey is open for response until 12:00 pm BST next Friday 30 July 2021, and should take respondents not more 15 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential but to validate the responses organisations will need to leave their contact details.
