Mark was educated at Les Quennevais School and Highlands College. On leaving school in 1986 Mark joined Le Riches Stores Limited working his way up from the shop floor over a 24 year career to head up Retail Operations for what was then CI Traders and subsequently SandpiperCI.

Mark joined the Channel Islands Co-operative Society in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for all of the Society’s trading operations across food, non-food and care. Mark achieved an MBA in Retailing from the University of Sterling in 2006.

Mark is a School Governor at Les Quennevais School and has been a member of the Retail and supply committee for a number of years. He is married to Anita and has two children, Brittany and Jordan, when not working he can be found in the gym or walking his two dogs!
