Lorna is a Chartered FCIPD professional with over 20 years experience dealing with strategic and operational HR issues including employment law, employee relations, training and development, organisational development, recruitment and performance management; advising directors, managers and staff on all employment and HR related matters across the channel islands.

Lorna joins the team at Law At Work after 10 years with the Guiton Group as Head of HR. Prior to that she held the role of HR Manager for Jersey Dairy, and senior HR roles in the hospitality industry, achieving the industry standard of Investors in People.

Since 2008 Lorna has been delivering Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) courses at Highlands College. She held the role of Chair of the Jersey Branch of CIPD for a three year term as well as holding the position of Board Member of Jersey Advisory & Conciliation Service (JACS). Lorna currently sits on the Chamber of Commerce HR and Training Committee.

Lorna is responsible for the Law At Work Training Academy, personally providing a range of bespoke and open training courses on leadership and management, HR and people management, and building on the Health and Safety, Discrimination and Diversity training and Employment training delivered by other team members.
