Radisson Blu launches #BluRoutes to help visitors make the most of Island

Wednesday 1 July 09:06

To enhance visitors’ experience of the Island, Radisson Blu has launched #BluRoutes, a series of running and cycling routes taking in many historic and beauty spots.

Four initial routes that vary in length and difficulty have been launched, and hotel staff are devising further routes which are hosted on the popular sporting community and tracking site, strava.com. The routes are personally planned for all levels of fitness, from amateur joggers to keen runners and cyclists. Local attractions such as Corbiere Lighthouse, the Jersey War Tunnels and Waterworks Valley feature on the routes.

Guests will be able to download their chosen routes directly to their GPS devices, or the hotel reception can print out a map.

Radisson Blu general manager Fergus O’Donovan commented, ‘We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our guests’ experience of our beautiful Island, and these running, walking or cycling routes take in some of the highlights. As a group, Radisson Blu is embracing technology to make our hotel facilities, booking and ‘added extras’ easier and more efficient for visitors.’
