WDF Jersey - Creating a Level Playing Field - Diversity in Action : Wednesday 17 May

Women's Development Forum Channel Islands Creating a Level Playing Field - Diversity in Action with Martina Williamson Head of HR for Citi Europe from 12:00 to 14:00

The underrepresentation of women at senior levels continues to be a key challenge within many organisations often despite decades of gender initiatives, inequalities in opportunities and promotional prospects still exist.

In this WDF meeting we will be joined by Martina Williamson, Head of HR for Citi Europe, who will outline some key HR initiatives undertaken that have lead to better diversity outcomes, and share insights from her own career perspective on the benefits of diversity practices at an individual and organisational level.

Following the WDF interactive table discussion format, attendees will explore what each of us can do in our organisations and in the wider Jersey community to promote gender balance within the workplace and level the current skew in the playing field.

Martina Williamson is Head of HR for Citi Europe, based in Dublin, covering over 9,000 employees across 25 countries with multiple business, regional and global functions. She has been with Citi  since 2005 and was previously based in the UK as a HR Consultant for Royal & Sun Alliance.   She holds a Masters in International HR Management from Cranfield University and is CIPD qualified.

Light refreshments will be served.
