Enterprise Week 2017 – Shaping our Future: Update and Next Steps

Enterprise Week 2017 – Shaping our Future: Update and Next Steps : Thursday 18 May

Attend this Enterprise Week 2017 breakfast seminar to find out how your vision for Jersey is influencing the development of Jersey’s long term plan.

Jersey is a beautiful island with a strong economy and enviable quality of life, but we cannot afford to take these benefits for granted. Over the next 20 years, our community will face unprecedented changes to the economic, social and environmental conditions we’ve become accustomed to. These challenges will change our Island as we know it today which is why Jersey’s government is developing the Island’s first long-term vision. It will build on Jersey’s strengths, acknowledge the challenges we face and describe our realistic ambitions for the future.

In developing this vision, 4,150 Islanders took part in the ‘My Jersey’ survey in 2016 adding nearly 8,000 comments to their scores on Jersey today and in the future.

At this breakfast seminar, Dr Ian Skinner, States of Jersey will share the vision that we all created and explain how Government will introduce new ways of working to deliver success.
