Annual General Meeting Luncheon

Chamber will welcome Dr Adam Marshall, Director of Policy and External Affairs at the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), as guest speaker for the May Annual General Meeting luncheon event.

Adam Marshall will talk about how we, as a business community, can take on the negative perceptions expressed in the media - and win the debate.

Prior to joining the BCC in July 2009, Adam was Head of Policy at the Centre for Cities think-tank for five years. Previously he worked for the Cambridge-MIT Institute (2003-2004) and in local politics in his native Washington DC.

Adam holds a BA from Yale University, and MPhil and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge.

The venue for this luncheon is the Pomme D'Or Hotel and the event will take the form of an Annual General meeting luncheon. The event will commence promptly at 12.30pm with the AGM formalities and induction of the new Treasurer and Executive Council members, followed by lunch. Dr Adam Marshall is scheduled to speak at 1.55pm followed by a question and answer session. We will seek to close the event by 2.30pm. The price is £25 per person, including lunch and wine sponsored by Dunells.
