Can you give your employees 15 minutes for our future?

Tuesday 16 September 11:40

As we all know the elections take place on the 15th October and we all have a responsibility to encourage our family, friends, business contacts and importantly our employees to VOTE!

The Chamber has been working with  to help encourage voting participation and the opportunity of pre polling is easier than ever!

Anybody can pre-poll vote during the week at St. Paul’s Centre between Wednesday 1st October 2014 and Monday 13th October 2014.

So if  you  live in any of the 12 parishes you  can cast your vote in St.Helier during the day .

Opening times at St Paul’s will be weekdays from Wednesday 1st October to Friday 10th October 2014 from 8 am to 6 pm; and Monday 13th October from 8 am to 2 pm.

There will be eight ballot boxes available, including two at a suitable height for wheelchair access.

When you visit the pre-poll voting station you will need to take photographic identification with you such as a driving licence or a passport.

So we are urging all our members to vote and more importantly to give each employee 15 minutes to enable them to visit St. Pauls Centre and vote themselves.

It is easy to make an excuse on the day not to vote, it was cold, it was raining, it was dark etc.... so support our Island by encouraging participation.

By giving yourself and your employees 15 minutes to vote you really will be doing something for all our futures.

We would like to recognise Companies and Businesses that support this initiative so please post your support and Company name  as this will encourage others
